Clinical: Our Services & Expertise

NERI’s clinical research group is one of the nation’s leading scientific teams in this area, offering clients an unmatched depth of knowledge and experience. The clinical team works with a wide range of sponsors to conduct domestic and international clinical trials involving drugs, medical devices, and observational studies. Our fundamental goal is to work with clients to design and execute clinical trials that answer study hypotheses unequivocally.

A unique strength of NERI’s clinical research group is its skill in working with challenging patient populations. NERI has conducted numerous clinical studies involving rare conditions, vulnerable patients (i.e. infants), underserved populations, surgical procedures, and novel outcome assessments. Our clinical research group is adept at training clinical sites on standardized protocols to ensure the collection of high quality clinical data.

NERI’s clinical research has a global reach. The company is currently conducting 25 clinical studies in more than 27 countries, and our researchers have long understood that appropriate selection of countries outside the US is often essential to recruitment success.

NERI offers clinical research services for trials and registries from start-up through study close-out.

NERI has been conducting clinical research since it was founded in 1986. This experience, along with a large staff holding diverse skill sets, allows NERI to create the best team for any particular client project.

Upon project initiation, a single project manager is assigned and is accountable to the client. Our goal is complete transparency to the client from start to finish. A standard set of study metrics and a project-specific timelines are agreed upon upfront to ensure accountability throughout the trial duration. Unlike other CROs, NERI’s key team members are typically assigned only 1 or 2 projects at a time, which allows them to focus intently on achieving project goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. Staff member skills are enhanced with rigorous training in project management, human subjects protection, and Good Clinical Practices.
