Brigham and Women’s Co –Investigator Dr. Robert Jamison presented preliminary data about the use of an electronic pain diary to track patient’s chronic pain over a 10-month data collection period. The patient’s treating physicians were also evaluated and preliminary analysis suggests that electronic tracking can provide information which could positively affect management decisions. Electronic monitoring has broad implications for healthcare policy and improvement in quality of care for chronic pain patients in the future. Click here to view the APS poster.
