Stoddard, ScD Dr. Stoddard leads one of the largest statistical groups in the Northeast of the U.S., initiating seminars and in-house training in new methods, providing senior mentoring and encouraging growth and development in this key group. Anne Stoddard has extensive experience with multivariate analyses in both observational studies and community-based intervention trials. In particular, her expertise includes mixed-effect linear modeling statistical methods and the measurement of behaviors in relation to health outcomes. More recently she has been involved in the design and analysis of multi-center clinical trials. She received her doctorate in biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health. She spent 25 years on the biostatistics faculty at the School of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was director of the Center for Research and Education in Women’s Health. She is an associate professor emerita at UMass Amherst. |
