This one-and-a-half hour CD-ROM is appropriate for students in grades 6 through 8. The goal of the program is to help young adolescents adopt alcohol-prevention strategies by helping them avoid risky situations and by teaching them coping skills for different types of social pressure (indirect, direct, insistent). Based on the successfully evaluated school curriculum Amazing Alternatives, this multimedia program combines interactive video role-plays, cutting-edge animation and games, photographs and audio, text articles, music, and class discussion and homework assignments.
