Raymond (Ray) Rosen, Ph.D

Chief Scientist

Ray Rosen is Chief Scientist at NERI where he serves as senior health researcher and international thought-leader in multiple areas of health research. His contributions include design and conduct of clinical trials, observational studies and patient registries, clinical outcomes and quality of life measurement, and best practices design and implementation research.

Dr. Rosen serves as Principal Investigator for multiple, ongoing global research projects in diverse areas of physical and mental health including PTSD, men’s and women’s health and PRO development. He has published more than 400 peer-review papers across a range of therapeutic areas and research methods. In his role as Chief Scientist, he provides expertise addressing requirements for NIH, FDA and the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Rosen received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Post-Doctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to joining NERI in 2006, Dr. Rosen was a Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at Rutgers University and Associate Dean and Chief Psychologist.
