New England Research Institutes and Gosnold Announce Partnership

Watertown, MA, July 8, 2016 – New England Research Institutes and Gosnold on Cape Cod have created a collaborative partnership to advance innovation in addiction health care and conduct research into promising practices.

“This collaboration will explore addiction research opportunities from pediatric through adulthood, focusing on community based continuing care, prevention, and early identification and intervention efforts,” said Lisa Marceau, Executive Director of New England Research Institutes (NERI). "NERI’s depth of health research expertise and Gosnold’s breadth of addiction treatment knowledge provide an opportunity to modify the approach to addiction research and treatment. This collaboration will integrate multidisciplinary research efforts at the patient, provider, and system levels.”

“We are very excited and optimistic about this partnership,” said Gosnold President, Raymond V. Tamasi. “Gosnold has developed several treatment innovations and the opportunity to engage a professional research firm with NERI’s reputation will enable us to validate these approaches and advance our commitment to find better ways to prevent, identify, and treat addiction.”
